 Dhaka temperature breaks record once again with 40.5°C

CLOCKSET 

In the midst of a severe heatwave, Dhaka reached its highest temperature in decades today, reaching 40.5°C.

According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, yesterday's peak temperature in Dhaka was 40.4°C, making it the hottest day the city had seen in 58 years until today.

The highest temperature in the country recorded today was in Chuandanga at 41.8°C. The district recorded 42.2°C yesterday. Jashore also experienced the same temperature of 41.8°C today.
